Being a volunteer with OWLS is a lot of fun! Spend your weekend afternoons outside in a woodland or at the beach helping us to run an event on building shelters with families or searching rockpools for sea life.
We need people who want to come out and give a hand at an event once a week or fortnight. Most of our events are at weekends in the morning or afternoons.
Almost everything we do is outside. We work in parks, community centres and public spaces all around Dublin. You must be comfortable being outside and like working with children. We welcome people with different skills and backgrounds who would like to lend a hand. You don't need to be a wildlife or survival expert!
We will provide training as you go and make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your volunteer experience. All volunteers must be willing to undergo garda vetting.
